For my birthday, Pere got me a few food related gifts, one of which is the new NPR Cooks cookbook. I have a nice collection of cookbooks going (many signed by the author/chef), and I'm always looking for new and interesting ones to add to the mix.
The cookbook features over 100 recipies by NPR on air personalities and supporting staff. While I haven't made any of the recipies yet, I like the idea that it's a collection of peoples favorite recipies, and represents a wide range of cuisines and tastes.
The cookbook itself is nicely designed, with its own built-in display stand that lets you show off the cookbook flip-chart style.
When I have some time to try out some of the recipes, I'll be sure to blog my thoughts.
